How can I convince my mom to let me stay in Texas?

I am a deep Texan and I love where I live. My mom says that it's to hot here and that we should move to Colorado cause it's cooler. I would miss my friends and my horse sooo much!!! How do I convince her that It is a bad idea? Thanks
