LGBT: How to survive living in the closet?

I'm in the same situation. My parents don't really like LGBT people but my dad is a lot more tolerant. My mom won't even let a friend go downstairs with my sister to play a videogame unless I'm there with them. I can't tell my parents until I'm out of that house, that's just the way it has to be. I will be disowned. Most of my friends wouldn't take the news well, being that some of them are devout Christians. The only way that I will tell someone is if they are trustworthy and open-minded. So far I haven't told anyone because I haven't found the right person, but I'm surviving. I guess what I can tell you is to stay strong. Don't let others get to you, or else you'll just crumble. At times, it's really hard to pretend, but I don't want to lose anyone so that keeps me going. I'm just counting the days until I can finally come out. If you need to talk to someone, you can message me.
