Do you believe in creationism or Darwinian evolution?
This is an age-old conundrum that pits science against religion. I guess it all depends on one's belief. What I, my parents and children believe is variable. My parents, of course, took the religious stance. I am torn between two worlds, although I pride myself in being open-minded to any possibility, and also the theory that science and religion can occasionally go hand in hand. As for my children, they are free to believe whatever they wish, and whatever is in their heart. I have reason to discount the Darwinian theory for one simple reason: If man is descended from apes, why are there still apes? The way evolution works is that each evolving species is superior to the former one, and thus the former one dies off. And in the animal kingdom, survival of the fittest can apply to one entity or to an entire specie as a whole. Thus, if we are evolved from apes, they should have been extinct long ago. But a trip to any zoo proves otherwise.
