Is it wrong to pray for sports?

I don't think its wrong but im sure God has more important prayers to answer. I remember praying for the packers every game the year they lost to the giants. But this last year i didn't pray for them to win and they did. So in a way he did answer my prayers it just took a few years. So is it wrong to pray for your sports team to win?
